Fun project

This clay making project was a lot of fun. I like how many color options came with this set, and I love the little cookie cutters, they’re the perfect size and I like how the shapes leave a lot to my imagination. The clay quality isn’t bad either, it’s a little hard and it really has to be conditioned before I could do anything with it. I also like that it came with all the hardware I needed to make the earrings, and the tools too’ and it was easily and quickly baked and hardened and I haven’t had any issues with it crumbling or falling apart. I’m super happy with this!

Great clay kit

This is a great clay set for beginners and experts alike. It has a lot of high quality polymer clay, and comes with a lot of accessories for making jewelry. These are all high quality, and my daughter has had a wonderful time making gifts for family. I highly recommend this kit to others!

Great gift for a young jeweler!

The Gleamkid Jewelry Dish Making Kit is a great starter kit for a young maker interested in working with jewelry and clay. This kit arrived well packaged and came with 24 different colors of firm polymer clay and all the pieces noted on the product listing. The small packets of clay can be shaped into beads for jewelry with the tools and cutters included in the kit. The final results can be earrings, necklaces, or bracelets, etc. This clay does require baking in the oven, so that part may require adult supervision. We found this kit to have a good variety of tools included (pliers, working dish, cutters, shaping tools). Although you'll eventually need to order more clay, there is plenty to get started with, and most of the items in this kit seem like they are good quality and will last awhile. For $16.99 list price at the time of this review, we think this is an awesome gift idea! This would also be a welcome quiet activity for summer or winter break. We recommend it to others.

Fun option for DIY clay jewelry

This set includes everything a beginner would need to create their own cute jewelry pieces. The kit comes with plenty of clay! The colors vibrant and the texture makes it fairly easy to work with. You don’t need a lot of clay in order to make really cute earrings, bracelets or necklace charms. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and once you get the hang of it, there are plenty of places online with tutorials/ inspiration. The best part of this set are the tools it comes with. Purchased on their own, the clay cutters and sculpting tools would cost pretty close to same amount as this whole kit. The tools are good quality and were easy to use and clean.I would recommend this set for a creative teen (or adult, I loved it as much as my kid did).

Great little kit, inspired

I was thumbing through a lot of these kits and this one seemed to have a nice balance of jewelry vs inspiration a kid could actually create with. It's one thing to slap a bunch of beads together, it's another to receive a creative kit where they are free to make something cool, aided by the tools given.Depending on the kid/teen, they're really going to love this.
