I've always been fascinated by pottery, but the idea of taking a class and dealing with all the equipment seemed intimidating. The instructions were easy to follow, even for a complete novice like me. I started with some simple shapes and gradually got more adventurous.Of course, it got a little messy, but that's part of the fun! I ended up creating a little collection of whimsical creatures, and I was so proud of them.The only downside is that the clay takes a while to dry completely. But honestly, it gave me time to admire my creations and plan my next project.Overall, this kit was a fantastic introduction to pottery. I picked up this Gleamkid air dry clay kit for my daughter who is doing A-Level art. She's not a big fan of the 3D design projects she has to do for the course (even though she's very talented at it). Part of this is the hassle of the types of clay that she could use at home which has primarily been the 'bake in the oven' kind. Results have varied!The air dry clay is a lot easier to work with - what you make is what you get at the end of the process (instead of the occasional shrivelled mess!). Combined with the paint and utensils this is a really good value kit for the price.

This is a really great set containing everything you need for making a few small air dry clay projects! The kit comes with a lot of different tools, including little stamping blocks for making cute patterns in the clay, and paint for decorating the pieces too. Me and my mum spent an afternoon making a couple of small trinket dishes and it was a lot of fun!

This is a fabulous kit for a crafty person or child who likes getting their hands dirty. You seem to get everything you would possible need to get creative.
