I have mixed feelings about this mat. My daughter really loves playing with it. She has fun playing the music and messing around with it. She seriously enjoys playing it like a piano, but as far as the game feature, it's not very responsive above the first challenge level.It also has some trouble with the first level because sometimes when you lift your foot off the middle button the wrong way, it counts it as stepping on it. This makes it pretty difficult to win.On the second level, it seems to want you to press two buttons at once, and that was difficult. We didn't even try the 3rd level.This isn't bad for the price, and maybe with some practice, you could figure out a way to do it well. I don't think it's the best quality, but I don't expect too much for this price. For 3-5 year olds who wouldn't care too much about winning, this might be a good filler gift or stocking stuffer kind of thing. Like I said, my 5 year old loves it. She's played with it pretty much every day since we got it.

This brightly colored, mermaid themed, dance pad is so much fun! There was a little bit of a learning curve at first, but as soon as you get the hang of it, it is a ton of fun!It requires three AA batteries, not included, but it does include a mini screwdriver to open the battery cover. There is also an instruction manual included, but it was pretty self-explanatory. We were able to figure it out without even opening the instructions.You can start on level 1, to learn how to play and get used to it, or you can crank it up for more of a challenge. Each time you complete a level, it automatically advances to the next difficulty level.With a wide variety of difficulty levels and fun songs, your kiddos will have a great time getting up and dancing along.If you are tired of your kiddos sitting around watching YouTube and playing games on their tablets, you should definitely give this dance mat a try. Even Grammy got out there and gave it a go and had a total blast!
