I got this pottery set for my daughter, who was excited to try it out. She was super pleased with the kit, and how easy it was to use.The set includes a nice booklet that has easy to understand directions to help you use all the supplies correctly. This is very helpful if you are a beginner, and helps ensure that your final project will turn out great.All supplies are needed from start to finish. Including 4 nice sized packs of white air dry clay, paints, varnish, pottery tools, paint brushes, and more.So far, my daughter made 1 character figurine, and it turned out beautifully. The Clay was easy to work with, the paints are high quality, and the glaze was shiny and adds a nice finish to the project. She didn't even use all of the Clay in 1 packet, so there is plenty to make several items in this set.Overall a great value, and is a perfect set to inspire your creativity.

I ordered this to try my hand at making small items. The clay quality is good, the tools are nice. The paint seems average...I diluted it for some ornaments I made following a YouTube tutorial, so I did not use the paint how it came. My ornaments are thin and dried nicely without any cracks. I love they way they rurned out. I have enough clay left for other projects. Everything included seems of good quality. I feel this would also make a good starting kit for older children under adult supervision.

I did this with my daughter, even though it states "Air dry clay for adults" I felt like with my assistance this was more of a project for someone younger. Though it has sparked my interest in pottery. Now with all that said I do not suggest letting kids just play with this kit, as it has glaze and other supplies I feel children shouldn't play with, without supervision. We made a small tray, like a key or ring dish for a stand or dresser. The clay took a little longer than what it specified in the instructions, although I feel like humidity and temperature plays a huge role in this part, I could be wrong. It comes with SO many little extras to add to your project. I work with empoxy in my spare time so this was right up my alley, and my daughter is always asking to craft with me but I will not allow her around the epoxy. This kit really helped her to feel included in my crafting. I would definitely buy this again, if I didn't have so much stuff left over from the first buy. Definitely recommend its a great kit, and you can spend some quality time alone or with your kids or a loved one making whatever your heart desires.

I was looking for a fun activity to do with my daughter, but also have a keepsake afterwards. This set is amazing and completely met all my expectations. It��s very easy to use and is such a fun way to get creative! I will be ordering sets to do in the future (maybe a Christmas tradition?) and as gifts!
